Charlotte's Solid Waste Services treats mattresses, box springs, appliances and other items too big for the garbage cart as bulky items that must be scheduled with the city (311, the CLT+ app or online). Curbside set-out is no earlier than the day before collection and no later than 6 a.m. on the day.
