Shed Removal in Raleigh — Demo, Haul, and Concrete Pad Options
Raleigh shed removal jobs range from small metal storage sheds to 16x20 barn-style structures. Most residential sheds — wood or metal, up to about 12x16 — come down in 1–3 hours. Larger structures with more framing, loft areas, or attached lean-tos take longer and may need more crew.
We disassemble sheds on-site, not haul them whole. The structure comes down into lumber and panel sections that load onto the truck. Wood sheds built with treated lumber require more cutting than metal panel sheds, which typically unbolt and stack flat. If you have an older wood shed that’s been painted or stained, mention that on the call — some older coatings need to be factored in.
Permits for shed removal aren’t typically required in Raleigh city limits or Wake County. If your shed was permitted when built and you’re selling the property, ask your agent if you need to document the removal. That’s a real estate question, not a removal question — we provide the service and haul the debris.
Concrete pads left after shed removal are priced separately. A standard 4-inch pad without rebar can be broken up and hauled in the same visit. Thicker pads or pads with significant reinforcing steel take more work and time. We’ll confirm the pad situation when you call and adjust the quote accordingly.
