Yard Waste Removal in Raleigh — What We Haul
Raleigh yard waste removal covers brush, branches, tree limbs cut into manageable sections, pulled shrubs and root balls, old sod, bagged leaves, and garden debris. We don’t haul whole trees with intact root systems — that’s a tree service job. Once a tree is cut down and sectioned, we take the material.
Wake County and Raleigh have disposal options that process clean yard debris through organic channels — composting and chipping rather than landfill. We route clean loads through those when the material qualifies. Mixed loads that include lumber, treated wood, or non-organic debris go to C&D facilities instead. Keeping yard waste separate from construction material, if you have both, gets the organic material to the better disposal outcome.
Soil and gravel are weight-sensitive. A cubic yard of wet soil weighs close to a ton. We price heavy material differently from light brush and branch loads — the weight changes the disposal cost, and that gets passed through to the quote. If you have both soil and brush to remove, tell us the proportions on the call so we can give you an accurate estimate.
Spring season in Raleigh — March through May — is our highest-demand window for yard waste. Same-day availability is tighter then. Call early in the morning if you need a same-day pickup during spring. Fall post-storm cleanups are the next busiest window. Year-round for routine yard debris, next-day availability is typical.
