Yard Waste Removal in Raleigh — What We Take
Brush, branches, tree limbs, pine straw, bagged leaves, pulled shrubs, old sod, garden soil, and root balls from trees already cut down. What we don’t take is a standing tree — have a tree service drop it, and we’ll clear everything they leave behind.
Pine Changes the Math
Wake County yards run heavy to loblolly pine, and pine debris behaves nothing like hardwood. Needles and straw are bulky but light, so they fill a truck fast without weighing much. Pine limbs are long, awkward, and have to be cut down before they’ll load. When you describe the pile, say roughly how much is straw versus limbs — it changes how much truck we bring.
Storm Cleanup in Wake County
Raleigh catches the tail end of coastal storms, and the aftermath is the busiest yard waste work we do. Downed limbs, split trunks already sectioned by a tree crew, and blown-down fence panels all load together. Demand spikes within hours of a storm passing, so call the same day rather than waiting for the weekend.
Neighborhood by Neighborhood
Five Points and the Inside-the-Beltline streets around Oakwood and Oberlin Road have mature canopy, small lots, and street-only access, so we carry to the curb by hand. North Raleigh, Brier Creek, and Wakefield have larger yards with driveway access — that’s where the big loads come from. North Hills, Midtown, and Cameron Village fall in between. We run the same routes through Cary, Apex, Garner, Wake Forest, Rolesville, Knightdale, and Clayton.
Keeping the Load Clean
Yard debris on its own can go to organic processing. The moment lumber, treated wood, or construction material is mixed in, the entire load has to go to a construction and demolition facility instead. If you want the green waste kept separate, tell us on the call and we’ll load it that way.
