We don’t haul vehicles: here’s the honest answer
A car, boat, camper, or RV needs a tow, a title, and a salvage path, not a junk truck. So Junk Doctors does not remove vehicles of any kind. The good news: getting rid of one is usually free, and a car often pays you. Here is how.
Who removes a vehicle in NC
- A cash-for-junk-cars or auto-salvage yard is the usual route for a car or truck. Most will tow a non-running vehicle for free and pay you scrap value, and some are title-optional.
- A marine or RV salvage yard handles boats, campers, and RVs. These need a trailer and specialized recycling that a junk truck can’t provide.
- A vehicle-donation charity usually tows free and handles the paperwork: a good fit when the vehicle has no resale value.
- A licensed tow or heavy-haul company works if you just need it moved off the property.
- The North Carolina DMV handles the title. Sign it over to the buyer or yard, or apply for a duplicate or abandoned-vehicle title. Start at NCDMV.
What we can take off your property
The vehicle is not ours to take, but the junk around it usually is:
- Automotive junk that is not the vehicle: old parts and garage or shop cleanouts
- Furniture, appliances, yard debris, and general household junk
- Full-property cleanouts, but not fuel, oil, batteries, or other hazardous fluids
