If your deck is attached, removing the ledger board leaves an opening in the house's exterior. We remove the ledger and close it up temporarily. Proper exterior patching — siding, flashing, waterproofing — is a separate contractor. We don't leave the wall exposed.
Pressure-Treated Wood Disposal
Pressure-treated lumber requires specific disposal handling — it can't go to standard wood recyclers. We take it to facilities that handle treated wood disposal properly.
